Role: Senior Account Manager

Our scientific and strategic expertise help our clients make better decisions. We provide medical communication services, market access consulting and regulatory writing support with deep domain expertise to effectively navigate complex disease areas.
We are currently looking for a Senior Account Manager to proactively lead and motivate our client account teams to deliver projects across the full range of medical communications services with an emphasis on excellent client service and best practice financial and project management.
- Lead and motivate the team and provide regular coaching and feedback on performance to client service team members and direct line reports.
- Take the lead in establishing and driving effective teamwork to deliver projects on time, to budget and to client satisfaction.
- Take responsibility for team performance and client relationships, including account team resourcing requirements.
- Provide professional, high-quality commercial perspective to allocated accounts.
- Establish positive long-term client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact according to the requirements of the account.
- Prepare for, attend and proactively participate in client meetings, including on-site support according to the needs of the account.
- Contribute to the development and regular review of account plans and forecasts, taking accountability for assigned actions.
- Liaise with internal teams to produce accurate project specifications and budget estimates, actively reviewing SOWs and providing best practice leadership on budget tracking both internally and externally.
- Drive projects through to completion, including reconciliation invoicing, and the monitoring of aged debt in a timely manner, demonstrating best practice of Bioscript financial procedures.
- Understand and meet account KPIs, highlighting any concerns/issues to senior client services colleagues in a timely manner.
- Be confident in communicating across the organisation, including up managing to the Med Comms Leadership Team and mentoring Account Managers, Executives and Coordinators.
- Identify opportunities for growth, identify potential limitations and propose appropriate course of action.
Please note, this role may require domestic and international travel.
