As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Printer & Die Cutter to join our production team.
About the Role As a Printer & Die Cutter, you will play a key role in the manufacture of high-quality packaging products for our FMCG customers.
Working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, you will be responsible for setting up and operating printing or die-cutting machinery, ensuring products are manufactured safely, efficiently and to the required customer specification.
The role offers an excellent opportunity to work on products supplied to recognised global clients, contributing directly to the quality and performance of their packaging.
Key Responsibilities Set up and operate printing or die-cutting machinery safely and efficiently.
Produce high-quality printed packaging products to customer specifications.
Carry out machine checks and quality inspections throughout production.
Ensure products meet required quality standards and production targets.
Identify and report quality, production or machinery issues.
Minimise waste and maximise machine efficiency.
Complete production paperwork and maintain accurate records.
Carry out routine cleaning and basic maintenance of machinery.
Follow all company Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental procedures.
Work closely with Production, Quality and other departments to achieve customer and production requirements.
Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the production process.
About You We are looking for someone who: Has previous experience operating printing or die-cutting machinery, ideally within a printing, packaging or FMCG manufacturing environment.
Understands print and packaging production processes.
Has excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
Takes pride in producing work to consistently high standards.
Is comfortable working to demanding production targets and customer deadlines.
Understands the importance of quality and consistency when supplying global FMCG customers.
Has a strong understanding of Health & Safety within a manufacturing environment.
Is reliable, flexible and committed to being part of a high-performing team.
Has strong communication and teamwork skills.
Is proactive in identifying issues and finding practical solutions.
Demonstrates a positive attitude and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Experience with specific printing or die-cutting equipment will be advantageous, with training provided where required.
