The Warehouse Administrative Assistant supports warehouse operations by handling administrative and clerical tasks. This role ensures accurate recordkeeping, assists with inventory management, coordinates shipments, and maintains effective communication between warehouse staff, customer service, and management.
Responsibilities:- Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments, inventory levels, and warehouse transactions.
- Prepare shipping documents, purchase orders, invoices, and delivery notes.
- Coordinate with logistics providers, suppliers, and internal departments regarding shipments and deliveries.
- Assist in stock control by performing regular inventory checks and data entry into warehouse management systems.
- File and organize warehouse documentation, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Support the Warehouse Manager in scheduling deliveries and managing warehouse workflow.
- Handle correspondence, emails, and phone calls related to warehouse operations.
- Generate and distribute reports (inventory, shipping, receiving, etc.) to management.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards within the warehouse environment.
