The Role
We’re looking for a strategic and driven Operations Manager to join our leadership team. Reporting directly to the CEO and CTO, you’ll be the engine behind BioOrbit’s day-to-day operations, ensuring we run efficiently, compliantly, and with excellence as we continue to scale.

- Lead talent operations: Manage recruitment, onboarding, and team growth to build a high-performing, mission-focused workforce.
- Own procurement & vendor management: Keep supply chains reliable, compliant, and cost-effective.
- Enable data-driven decisions: Deliver insights through KPI tracking, performance reporting, and process improvement initiatives.
- Champion compliance: Maintain operational documentation and workflows aligned with GMP and regulatory requirements.
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- Master’s degree in business, operations, life sciences, or related field
- 3+ years in operations management, ideally within pharma or biotech
- Strong project management and organisational skills
- Proven leadership across cross-functional teams
- Experience with onboarding processes for technical/compliance-heavy roles
- Proficiency in data analysis and digital tools (e.g. Office 365, Jira, Google Workspace)
Desirable:
- Project management certifications
- Knowledge of GMP and pharmaceutical regulatory standards (MHRA, EMA, FDA)
- Experience with ERP, CRM, or PLM systems
- Strategic thinking and change management expertise
- Prior exposure to pharmaceutical product lifecycles
Why Join BioOrbit?
