Assistant Finance Manager

We are open to someone joining us on a 4 or 5 day week. What You’ll Be Doing In short: preparing to lead. But here’s what that looks like day to day: Partnering with the Finance Manager to deliver monthly reporting, management accounts, and forecasts Playing a key role in budgeting and strategic financial planning Taking ownership of reconciliations, reporting packs, and internal controls Contributing to board-level insights with smart financial analysis Supporting external audits and end-of-year processes Working alongside the current Finance Manager with an open mind on being mentored to progress their career Spotting inefficiencies and helping us fix them Who You Are You’re ready for more. You’ll likely have: A solid foundation in finance: part-qualified or fully qualified (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) Around 3+ years of experience in a finance role, ideally with exposure to reporting, controls, and planning An analytical brain, eagle-eyed attention to detail, and real commercial awareness Confidence using Excel and financial systems Excellent communication skills and the initiative to make things happen Be flexible and work from the office a minimum of 2 days a week What We Offer A real development path – ongoing training to help you progress in your career with us Hybrid working – typically 2–3 days in the office, with flexibility built-in Work that matters – your voice will shape decisions, and your impact will be visible A range of great benefits Salary range between £40,000 and £47,000 depending on experience Apply now and make this the year your career levels up.
