The main purpose of this role is to work as a central point between Bionic’s sales teams, supplier panel and Bionic’s highest value customers. By utilising strong relationship skills you’ll be optimising the value of pricing requests for our Customers, Suppliers and Bionic. You will be pivotal in managing a high value channel, driving over £5 million in revenue for the business every year.
The Major Business Pricing team form a part of the Commercial department, playing a key role in optimising our journey for high value customers. Working closely with the Major Business and Bionic Outbound sales teams as well as Suppliers such as British Gas and EDF, the key objectives are to provide accurate and competitive pricing in a timely manner to ensure the best customer outcomes.
We operate a hybrid working model, with a balance of collaboration in our London office and flexibility to work remotely. Our teams are fast-paced, collaborative, and results-driven, with a clear focus on delivering the best outcomes for customers while continuously improving internal processes.
As the Pricing Executive your key responsibilities will be:
- Collating quotes from suppliers in an efficient format for agents to present back to customers with high consumption or a high volume of meters
- Managing your workload independently and part of the team to drive end to end processes
- Building relationships with agents and suppliers to help advise on different pricing situations
- Working alongside the supplier management team to help obtain optimal rates from suppliers
- Providing regular updates to stakeholders regarding market changes (e.g. changes to supplier pricing, SLAs etc)
- Providing Suppliers with visibility of pricing placement and feedback, across the panel to help drive better rates
- Reporting and tracking to provide insights on how to optimise the performance of tenders
- Own and manage Bionics auto-tenders process to support retention rate and optimise process
- Manage tender tracking and reporting streams
Daily Responsibilities:
- Maintaining relationships with suppliers with regular calls/emails
- Updating stakeholders on tender position
- Formatting prices for customers and suppliers
- Providing suppliers with feedback of tender pricing
- Updating business units on performance
- Owning tenders process E2E
- Developing tender processes to improve efficiency
