About the role: Our client is seeking a skilled Website Developer to build and maintain modern, responsive, and optimized websites for their clients. This role is perfect for someone with a deep understanding of front-end development best practices, a talent for implementing pixel-perfect designs, and a proactive problem-solving mindset. Experience in a digital marketing agency is required. Experience in the cannabis industry is preferred.
What you'll be doing:
- Customizing WordPress themes (PHP, CSS, JS)
- Working inside Elementor (or other visual builders) without breaking the structure
- Optimizing performance and Core Web Vitals
- Implementing and customizing React-based e-commerce SDK integrations
- Working within Cloudflare reverse proxy environments
- Managing multi-location URL routing structures
- Debugging production issues quickly and cleanly
- Collaborating with SEO to implement technical recommendations
Who are we looking for?
- 4+ years of experience in website development, with a focus on WordPress and Shopify.
- Solid React experience (2+ years)
- Experience integrating third-party SDKs or APIs
- Comfortable debugging JavaScript issues
- Familiar with Git and production deployments
- Understanding of website performance optimization
- Proven experience with PHP, CSS, JavaScript, and custom WordPress development.
- Strong proficiency in implementing responsive, pixel-perfect designs.
- Familiarity with Elementor page builder and similar visual builders is mandatory
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Strong proficiency in written and verbal English communication.
