To support our continued growth and exciting plans, we’re looking for an Energy Sales Consultant to join our Sales Team and close qualified sales enquiries passed over to you by our inbound, outbound and field sales teams. You will be helping small to medium size businesses secure a better deal on their energy contracts, by presenting them with a wide range of options to meet their needs.
Responsibilities:
- Receiving and closing real-time qualified leads
- Establish customer needs and matching them with a product to meet those needs
- Search for and present the best deals available to your customer
- Act as the customer’s account executive or account manager
- Call back customers at an agreed time to discuss their needs
- Create relationships with our customers, giving them a world class service
- Convince customers to accept the deal offered if it meets their needs
- Meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets and KPI’s
- Cross sell into other service areas such as telecoms, water and insurance
- Work with the team to create a great place to work
Qualifications:
- 12 months+ Sales Experience (in a B2B or telesales environment)
- Target driven and self‑motivated
- Consultative and value‑driven sales approach
- Experience pitching, negotiating and objection handling
- Outstanding communication skills (verbal, written and listening)
- Enjoy building rapport with people from diverse backgrounds
- Tactful in your approach to customers
- Punctual, focused & dedicated
- Initiative and a desire to learn & develop
- Friendly and outgoing team player
- Resilient and able to work under pressure
