The role involves supporting our continued growth and exciting plans by joining our Sales Team as an Energy Sales Consultant. You will close qualified sales enquiries passed to you by our inbound, outbound and field sales teams.
- Receive and close real-time qualified leads
- Assess customer needs and match them with appropriate products
- Search for and present the best deals available
- Act as the customer’s account executive or account manager
- Call back customers at an agreed time to discuss their needs
- Build relationships with customers and provide a world‑class service
- Convince customers to accept the deal offered when it meets their needs
- Meet daily, weekly and monthly targets and KPIs
- Cross‑sell into other service areas such as telecoms, water and insurance
- Collaborate with the team to create a great place to work
About you:
- 12 months+ sales experience in a B2B or telesales environment
- Target driven and self‑motivated
- Consultative and value‑driven sales approach
- Experience in pitching, negotiating and handling objections
- Outstanding communication skills (verbal, written and listening)
- Enjoy building rapport with people from diverse backgrounds
- Tactful in your approach to customers
- Punctual, focused and dedicated
- Initiative and a desire to learn and develop
- Friendly and outgoing team player
- Resilient and able to work under pressure
The interview process includes an initial conversation with our Talent Acquisition Team followed by a final stage in‑office interview with some of the wider team.
