We're building a one-stop shop for business essentials that's powered by smart technology and world-class human service, giving them an experience so good that they trust Bionic to sort all their business needs for them. We're seeking an Agile Delivery Lead to join our Tech Engineering team, on a Fixed Term Contract ending in November ****.
About the role
As an Agile Delivery Lead at Bionic, you will play a key role in enabling our teams and squads to efficiently deliver value for our business and our customers. You'll work as part of the squad leadership team, shaping ambitious plans and driving delivery across our Digital Engagement and Renewals Squads.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the successful delivery of projects and initiatives - on time, within scope and with impact.
- Own and evolve delivery plans, keeping everything on track and everyone informed.
- Maintain a log of risks, actions, issues and decisions and resolve blockers fast, keeping delivery on track and communicating with Heads of & Exec teams where necessary.
- Enable cross-functional squads in the design and delivery of OKRs and initiatives.
- Keep success measures and business benefits front and centre throughout delivery.
- Champion Agile ways of working, guiding tech teams through value-driven delivery.
- Drive quarterly process cycles with cross-functional squads including OKR planning, dependency mapping and health checks.
- Identify and implement process improvements across squads, to build efficiency.
- Report on progress of OKRs, initiatives, projects and team metrics to a variety of stakeholders.
- Manage estimation processes and guide the team in establishing capacity and a predictable velocity.
- Be the go-to contact for stakeholders - clear, confident, and proactive.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Expertise with planning, reporting and documentation tools, with a focus on Agile ways of working.
- Experience building and communicating Agile delivery plans to stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and leading Scrum teams.
- Confidence in using Jira and Confluence.
- Familiarity with OKRs and how to drive them.
- Skilled in planning and facilitating workshops.
- Natural curiosity, with a knack for asking powerful questions.
- Ability to lead high-performing, cross-functional squads with confidence.
- Comfortable with setting direction, building trust, and driving accountability.
- Coach team members and support their growth and development.
- Foster a culture of ownership, agility, and collaboration.
- Advanced Agile qualification and project management qualification (desirable).
