If so, Bionema , a leader in the biocontrol, biostimulants, biofertilisers, and biosurfactants sector, is looking for a Technical Biological Sales Manager to join our team in Swansea, Wales. In this pivotal role, you will identify and grow B2B opportunities across agriculture, sports turf, horticulture, and forestry markets. You will help Bionema bring its innovative range of biological solutions to new clients, manage distributor relationships, and play a key role in expanding our market presence in the UK and beyond. Key Responsibilities: B2B Business Development: Identify, develop, and capitalise on B2B opportunities across agricultural, sports turf, horticulture, and forestry markets for Bionema’s biocontrol, biostimulants, biofertilisers, and biosurfactants product range. Marketing Campaigns & CRM Management: Execute marketing campaigns in collaboration with the Customer Marketing team and provide insights through Salesforce. Product Launch & Support: Lead the development and launch of new biological products, providing technical support and product advice to clients. Client & Distributor Management: Build strong relationships with distributors and clients, increasing market share and ensuring successful product adoption. Market Expansion: Bionema will expand its presence in the UK, EU, US, Canada, and other key markets. Sales Target Achievement: Drive sales across B2B and B2C channels, collaborating with cooperatives, marketing companies, and distributors to meet and exceed sales targets. Technical Seminars & Field Trials: Organize and participate in technical seminars and field trials to demonstrate the effectiveness of Bionema’s solutions. Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with R&D, regulatory, supply operations, and public affairs to ensure smooth product development and market penetration. Why Join Us? Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture, Agriculture, Biology, or related field. 5-10 years of experience in agrochemicals, particularly plant protection products, biologicals, biopesticides, biofertilisers, and biosurfactants. Experience in B2B sales within sports turf, horticulture, forestry, or agriculture sectors. BASIS certification in crop protection or willingness to obtain it. Strong understanding of the UK/EU market landscape and expertise in techno-commercial aspects of crop protection and plant health. Proven ability to manage accounts, build client relationships, and achieve sales targets. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), and social media. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
