How you’ll spend your day
As part of the IT Development team, you will be responsible for the specification, development, and implementation of internally developed business applications - primarily within a secure online environment. Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and developing bespoke business applications where off-the-shelf solutions are not suitable
- Delivering scalable, secure, and high-performing systems aligned to business objectives
- Producing clear technical documentation to ensure continuity and resilience across supported systems
- Working closely with stakeholders to understand business strategy and translate this into effective IT solutions
- Identifying innovative opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery
- Maintaining awareness of emerging IT trends and recommending improvements where appropriate
- Supporting best-practice development standards, including secure coding and robust QA processes
- Ensuring systems operate within structured development, testing, and production environments
- Contributing to a secure IT framework aligned to ISO27001 standards
You will play a key role in delivering technology that directly supports business performance in a regulated, customer-focused environment.
