We are looking for a Logistics Controller who combines strong operational ownership with analytical and strategic capability. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both hands-on logistics tasks and data-driven improvement work, with ambition to grow.
Your Responsibilities:
- Operational Logistics: You will oversee a variety of essential day-to-day logistics tasks, ensuring smooth operations across the UK and Ireland:
- Act as the main point of contact for outbound order issues, inbound queries, and transport questions
- Coordinate daily with the UK warehouse on outbound operations
- Manage interactions with suppliers and carriers
- Oversee inventory management activities: cycle counts, stock takes, accuracy reviews
- Perform first-level troubleshooting on any logistics or transport disruptions
- Ensure transactional data accuracy and alignment between SAP and the logistics management system
- Execute scrap processes and maintain proper documentation
- Responsible for U.K. & Ireland scope
- Hosting and independently running monthly supply review meetings
- Reviewing supply and logistics performance, identifying trends and improvement opportunities
- Creating and presenting data-driven insights to internal stakeholders
- Act as the CSR logistics contact for the UK & Ireland
Strong analytical capability, comfort using data, and confidence presenting metrics are essential.
Who You Are:
- Experienced in logistics/supply chain with comfort in both admin and strategic tasks
- Analytical, data-driven, and confident presenting metrics
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate
- Comfortable managing external logistics providers
- Proficient in SAP and Excel
- Growth-minded, adaptable, and not seeking a managerial title but willing to lead
