Bio&Me is six years old and we are well on our way to establishing ourselves as the leading gut health food brand in the UK, focusing on Granolas, Porridges, Bars, Kefir Yoghurts and Drinks. We are looking for a dedicated member of the team who will champion Dr Megan's gut health principles both in-house and with consumers.

Key Responsibilities / Purpose of Role

  • Consumer Communications: You will help create engaging content that communicates Bio&Me's benefits, nutrition and gut health content for social media, writing gut health blogs and newsletters. Ensure all communications are scientifically and nutritionally accurate and regulatory compliant.
  • Retailer Communications: Ensure that all communications presented to our Key Customers (Tesco, Sainsbury etc) are nutritionally accurate. Support Dr Megan in positively influencing customers and hosting gut health education events.
  • NPD and EPD Development: Ensure all products' nutritional information remains accurate and regulatory compliant. Work closely with the COO and NPD Manager to create new ideas and ensure recipes align with Dr Megan's principles.

Experience / Qualifications

  • You will be a Dietitian or Registered AFN Nutritionist.
  • You will be a graduate with a relevant degree to at least 2:1 standard.
  • Ideally, you will have worked in a Food Company for 4 or more years.
  • You will have a positive, flexible attitude and be happy to learn new areas.
  • You will have attention to detail and strong written communication skills.
  • You will have a passion for gut health science and keeping up with the latest trends.
  • You will enjoy nutrition myth busting and reading new research studies.

Details

  • Location: Half the team is based in Chester, with the rest working flexibly around the UK. There will be travel to retailer and sales team meetings.
  • Salary: We pay fairly and competitively based on experience.
  • Benefits: Annual bonus of 10%, 25 days holidays plus birthdays and long service days, annual gut health assessment, health insurance, and other personal development elements.
  • Share Options: Every team member is awarded share options.
