Clinical Research Physician I (CRP I) – Clinical Trials

Bioluminux Clinical Research is seeking a medically qualified doctor to join our team in Spalding as a Clinical Research Physician I (CRP I).
This is an excellent opportunity for a doctor looking to develop a career in clinical research and pharmaceutical medicine, with hands-on involvement in the delivery of industry-sponsored clinical trials.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct screening and protocol-defined study visits
- Assess participant eligibility and review medical histories and medications
- Perform clinical examinations and study-specific assessments
- Support the informed consent process
- Review laboratory results and other clinical data
- Assess and document adverse events and participant safety
- Maintain high-quality clinical and source documentation
- Work closely with PIs, study coordinators, sponsors and CROs
- Support participant recruitment and retention
- Complete protocol-specific and ICH-GCP training
- MBBS, MBChB or equivalent recognised medical qualification
- Current GMC registration with a licence to practise
- Good clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work on-site in Spalding 5 days per week
- Flexibility to work occasional weekends when required for study or participant needs
- Genuine interest in clinical trials and pharmaceutical medicine
Previous clinical research experience is desirable but not essential. Appropriate training and support in clinical trial delivery will be provided.
The position may particularly suit a doctor looking to transition from clinical practice into clinical research or pharmaceutical medicine.
