BioLuminux ( is an emerging Integrated clinical research organisation delivering commercial clinical trials across a broad range of therapeutic areas with research sites in the US and UK. As our portfolio continues to grow, we are seeking experienced physicians to join our Clinical Research Physician Talent Pool .
Successful applicants will be considered for Principal Investigator (PI) and Sub-Investigator (Sub-I) contractor opportunities that arise across our UK research sites in Milton Keynes, London, Wolverhampton and Southampton.
These flexible roles are designed to complement existing NHS, private or academic clinical commitments.
We are particularly interested in hearing from post CCT physicians working in:
- General Practice
- General Internal Medicine / Acute Medicine
- Cardiology
- Respiratory Medicine
- Geriatrics
- Obstetrics & Gynaecology
- Paediatrics
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake Principal Investigator or Sub-Investigator responsibilities as delegated.
- Conduct informed consent discussions and participant eligibility assessments.
- Perform medical reviews, physical examinations and safety assessments.
- Review laboratory and diagnostic results.
- Assess adverse events and ensure participant safety.
- Work collaboratively with research coordinators, nurses, sponsors and CROs.
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with ICH-GCP and study protocols.
- Support monitoring visits, audits and regulatory inspections where required.
- GMC registration with a licence to practise.
- Entry on the GMC Specialist Register.
- Active clinical practice within your specialty.
- Excellent communication and clinical judgement.
- Previous experience as a PI or Sub-I.
- ICH-GCP certification.
- Previous commercial clinical research experience.
Training may be available for suitable candidates who are new to clinical research.
