T&I Electrician FM Service Provider Sidcup – Up to £44,000
An exciting opportunity to join an established building services company based in Sidcup has arisen! CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for an Electrical engineer to be based on a large contract located in Sidcup. He or she will be required to carry out electrical testing, PPM\’s and reactive building maintenance alongside the maintenance team on site.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance and have proven track record in Electrical building maintenance. In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of up to £44,000, overtime, further training, and a potential route into further career progression.
Hours of work
- Monday to Friday, 07:00am to 15:30pm – 30 min lunch break
- Plenty of Overtime available
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Carry out scheduled Electrical testing and Inspection maintenance tasks, including but not limited to Emergency Lighting, EICR, Illumination Levels, Infra-Red, Motors, PAT, Static Discharge and lightning protection
- Carry out repairs and operations of equipment and services in accordance with best practice
- Provide input into and management of the planned maintenance schedule, ensuring associated work tasks are completed in accordance with the agreed PPM planner, SLA and KPI targets
- Complete PPM and reactive works activities in accordance with contract requirements, and in line with company competency appointment(s)
- Supervise works carried out by specialist sub-contractors, reporting anomalies to the Contract Supervisor / Site Management
- Safely and efficiently maintaining (or supervising the maintenance by third-party contractors of) existing plant and equipment
- Extensive knowledge of Electrical Testing and Inspection including verification of single & 3- phase electrical systems on a large scale industrial enterprise

Requirements
- Electrically qualified – City & Guilds Level 2&3
- Electrical Testing Qualification – 2391 or Equivalent
- JIB Gold Card
- Must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
