CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for a reliable and dedicated Cleaner to join a friendly primary school in Sunderland on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students and staff.
Package:
- £13 PAYE per hour
- 15-20 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
- Core hours: 3:00pm - 6:00pm
- Temporary ongoing role
- Deep cleaning work expected during the August holiday period
- Weekly pay

Responsibilities:
- Cleaning classrooms, toilets, corridors, and shared areas to a high standard
- Restocking cleaning and hygiene supplies as needed
- Emptying bins and ensuring waste is disposed of correctly
- Carrying out deep cleans during school holidays, especially in August
- Following health and safety and infection control protocols
- Reporting any maintenance or hygiene concerns to site management
Requirements:
- Previous cleaning experience (ideally within a school or similar environment)
- Good understanding of cleaning procedures and hygiene standards
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- A proactive and trustworthy approach
- An enhanced DBS may be required for this role (can be arranged if needed)
