Mobile Water Hygiene Plumber - Manchester - Global Facilities Management Organisation: Commercial & Public Sector
CBW Staffing Solutions are currently seeking a skilled Water Hygiene Plumber, who has a solid background in water hygiene and plumbing maintenance within the facilities management industry. Your role will involve diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems and fixtures to uphold optimal functionality and exceed client expectations. This is a mobile position, covering Greater Manchester & surrounding areas.
Package
- Competitive salary up to £37,000 per annum (depending on experience)
- Van & fuel card supplied
- Core hours are Monday - Friday (40 hours per week)
- Participation in an out of hours on call rota (to be confirmed)
- 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays

Responsibilities
- Carry out temperature monitoring, showerhead descales, cold water storage tank inspections and cleans
- Conduct cooling tower cleaning and disinfections in accordance with regulations
- Perform TMV (Thermostatic Mixing Valve) servicing and water sampling
- Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) service visits using appropriate tools and systems
- Ensure all site L8 logbooks, where acting as the Primary Technician, are accurate and fully up to date
- Respond promptly to both verbal and written service requests
- Dose inhibitor and biocide chemicals as required
- Carry out LTHW (Low Temperature Hot Water) system testing and analysis
Qualifications
- City & Guilds or NVQ (or equivalent) qualification relevant to the role i.e. Plumbing
- Up-to-date knowledge of technical regulations including: water supply, regulations/byelaws, L8 ACOP, HSG274
- Proven ability in fault diagnosis and resolution
- Full, valid UK driving licence
