CBW Staffing Solutions are seeking an experienced and motivated Maintenance Electrician to join our client’s leading facilities management team. This position is based on a static contract in Derby, home to over 30 commercial businesses. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and safe operation of all electrical systems across the site, including offices, kitchens, and communal areas, ensuring the facility remains safe, efficient, and fully operational at all times.

- Competitive salary of £40,000, plus overtime

Duties
- Carry out maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical components including wiring, circuit breakers, and lighting fixtures
- Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life
- Manage electrical installation projects and ensure completion of all required certification and documentation
- Diagnose and resolve electrical faults quickly and effectively
- Undertake basic building fabric repairs as required
- Respond to call-outs and attend site for equipment breakdowns or failures outside normal working hours
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar electrical maintenance role within Facilities Management (FM)
- City & Guilds Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification
- Previous experience working within the Facilities Management industry
