My client is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join an 11‐story commercial building in Knightsbridge, London. This is a client‐facing role, so the ideal candidate will not only be technically skilled but also presentable with strong communication skills. You will be joining an established maintenance team that has recently taken on a new member, so we are looking for someone confident who can hit the ground running.

- £45,000 per annum

Shift Pattern
- Split shift
- Monday‐Friday / 07:00‐16:00 and 09:00‐18:00 on a weekly rotation.
Key Responsibilities
- Planned and reactive maintenance across mechanical plant and building services
- Work on chillers, cooling towers, AHUs, FCUs, pumps, and motors
- General plumbing and pipework maintenance
- Water treatment and temperature checks
- Fault‐finding and resolution on a range of mechanical systems
- BMS monitoring and adjustments
- Support electrical and general building services tasks where required
- Escort specialist subcontractors when needed
- Maintain high standards of service delivery in a client‐facing environment
Requirements
- Mechanical qualifications (C&G / NVQ or equivalent)
- Strong experience in commercial building services maintenance
- Knowledge of chillers, cooling towers, AHUs, FCUs, pumps, motors, and plumbing
- Multi‐skilled with a proactive approach to fault finding and maintenance
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
