An exciting opportunity to join an established FM service provider based in Bank, London has arisen. CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting an Electrical Maintenance Engineer based in a commercial building in Bank, London. The role requires carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across the site.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of facilities maintenance and a proven track record in building maintenance. The company offers a competitive salary of up to £45,000, overtime, further training and a potential route into career progression.

The amenities include cycle storage, showers and lockers, and a variety of rooms including boardrooms, meeting rooms and larger function spaces. As the site is in central London, transport links are convenient; the nearest stations are Bank, Fenchurch Street, Aldgate and Monument.

Package & working hours
  • A basic salary of up to £45,000
  • Monday to Friday – 08:00 am to 17:00 pm

Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Lighting (small installation, fault-finding, lamping, etc)
  • Emergency lighting tests
  • Control panels
  • Changing ballasts
  • BMS system – monitor (hot & cold)
  • Carry out all aspects of M&E/Fabric maintenance
  • Maintain and update log books
  • Plumbing - unblocking toilets
  • Pumps, motors
  • Compliance and logbooks
  • Chillers and pressurisation units
  • Undertake all allocated tasks and perform them in a timely and professional manner
  • Be proactive in identifying and reporting faults with building services equipment and take steps to resolve them
  • Be proactive to ensure all H&S issues are reported/escalated as required
  • Maintain informal communications with client staff related to service levels and issues
  • Report service-affecting issues to the site management team for formal communication with the client
  • Remain flexible with regard to site attendance and tasks undertaken within personal competency
  • Be fully aware of relevant health and safety and general legislative matters
  • Escort specialist subcontractors
Requirements
  • Electrically qualified - City & Guilds Level 2 & 3
  • City & Guilds - 18th Edition
  • Must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
  • A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
  • Multi-skilled
  • Good communication skills
  • Client facing
