An exciting opportunity to join an established FM service provider based in Bank, London has arisen. CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting an Electrical Maintenance Engineer based in a commercial building in Bank, London. The role requires carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across the site. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of facilities maintenance and a proven track record in building maintenance. The company offers a competitive salary of up to £45,000, overtime, further training and a potential route into career progression.
The amenities include cycle storage, showers and lockers, and a variety of rooms including boardrooms, meeting rooms and larger function spaces. As the site is in central London, transport links are convenient; the nearest stations are Bank, Fenchurch Street, Aldgate and Monument.
Package & working hours
- A basic salary of up to £45,000
- Monday to Friday – 08:00 am to 17:00 pm

Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Lighting (small installation, fault-finding, lamping, etc)
- Emergency lighting tests
- Control panels
- Changing ballasts
- BMS system – monitor (hot & cold)
- Carry out all aspects of M&E/Fabric maintenance
- Maintain and update log books
- Plumbing - unblocking toilets
- Pumps, motors
- Compliance and logbooks
- Chillers and pressurisation units
- Undertake all allocated tasks and perform them in a timely and professional manner
- Be proactive in identifying and reporting faults with building services equipment and take steps to resolve them
- Be proactive to ensure all H&S issues are reported/escalated as required
- Maintain informal communications with client staff related to service levels and issues
- Report service-affecting issues to the site management team for formal communication with the client
- Remain flexible with regard to site attendance and tasks undertaken within personal competency
- Be fully aware of relevant health and safety and general legislative matters
- Escort specialist subcontractors
Requirements
- Electrically qualified - City & Guilds Level 2 & 3
- City & Guilds - 18th Edition
- Must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
- A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
- Multi-skilled
