Electrical Maintenance Engineer – Borehamwood – Temp to Permanent

Are you an Electrical Engineer looking for a new challenge? *CBW* is recruiting for a temp‑to‑perm position at a commercial property in Borehamwood. Successful candidates will be electrically qualified with a proven track record working in building maintenance. The hourly rate is up to £25 p/h with an immediate start.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Lighting (small installation, fault‑finding, lamping, etc)
• Emergency lighting tests
• Control panels
• Changing ballast
• BMS system – monitor (hot & cold)
• Carry out all aspects of M&A/Fabric maintenance
• Maintain and update log books
• Plumbing – unblock toilets
• Pumps, motors

Hours & Shift Pattern & Rates

• 08:00 – 17:00
• Monday – Friday
• Temp to perm
• £25 p/h

Requirements

• Electrically qualified (City & Guilds – Level 2, 3 and 18th edition)
• Proven track record in building maintenance
• Good leadership & management skills
• Safe systems of work procedure – PTW, RAMS experience
• Health and safety and statutory compliance knowledge
• Excellent oral & written communication skills & ability to develop working relationships internally & externally
• Proven IT skills, including Microsoft Office
