Area General Manager – Hard FM Service Provider London – up to 90k

Would you like to work for an established, stable building maintenance contractor?

Do you have experience managing multiple static contracts?

One of the established names in the commercial building maintenance industry is looking to recruit a multi-site Area General Manager to oversee nine key commercial properties in and around Central London.

The successful candidate will provide first-class customer service, organize, manage, and motivate maintenance teams. Reporting directly to the business unit director, the role involves managing various commercial buildings in the City and Central London, with a mix of financial and blue-chip clients, all with permanent maintenance teams onsite.

Time will be spent at each location, with the option to work from the city-based head office when needed.

The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8-5. Main duties include:

1. Ensuring high client satisfaction, leading to contract development and portfolio growth.
2. Maintaining and demonstrating in-depth knowledge of contractual levels during monthly reviews with senior management.
3. Meeting and exceeding contractual KPIs/SLAs.
4. Attending strategic operational meetings with clients regularly.
5. Ensuring timely completion of reactive and PPM work orders, meeting KPIs/SLAs.
6. Providing leadership and management to site teams.

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

1. Recognized apprenticeship and full electrical or mechanical qualification (e.g., C&G, HNC/HND).
2. Proven experience managing multi-site businesses.
3. Ability to prioritize and solve problems under pressure with innovative solutions.
4. Strong team player committed to quality and professionalism.
5. Excellent people management skills.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
