Duties Include:
- Handling a variety of product types, storing and retrieving samples from temperature regulated locations ranging from 4°C to -196°C.
- Actively manage inventory and kanban locations throughout the site.
- Receive inbound shipments to ensure all internal specifications and regulatory requirements are met.
- Receiving and tracking of all inbound Human tissue Act (HTA) samples.
- Provide efficient and effective ‘hands on’ daily management of inventory for sale.
- Apply familiar with cycle counts, ABC inventory, and FIFO/FEFO practices to ensure accurate and efficient operations.
- Managing the placement of purchase orders for stocked items and liaising with suppliers on delivery times.
- Collecting laboratory waste from labs and safely operating autoclaves to dispose of waste safely.
- Accurately following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Ensuring completion of duties with minimal errors to support department metrics.
- Contributing to operational excellence and assisting in the further development of a Lean approach to process flows.
- Receiving shipments and materials into the building.
