The Site Operations Manager is responsible for the day-to-day leadership and operational management of the manufacturing site to ensure safe, efficient and compliant operations. The role oversees manufacturing support activities, facilities, site services, health & safety, and operational processes to ensure the site meets quality, regulatory, financial and operational performance targets. Working closely with manufacturing, supply chain and functional leaders, the Site Operations Manager ensures operational readiness of the site environment while promoting a culture of safety, continuous improvement and employee engagement.
Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to)
- Site Operations & Performance
- Lead daily operational management of the site to ensure manufacturing and support activities run safely, efficiently and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and report site operational performance, including KPIs, productivity, quality and cost performance.
- Support the development and execution of site operational plans and improvement initiatives.
- Identify operational challenges and implement solutions to improve efficiency, reliability and site performance.
- Health, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure full compliance with EHS, regulatory and quality standards across the site.
- Lead site safety initiatives, risk assessments and incident management to maintain a strong safety culture.
- Maintain oversight of emergency preparedness, fire safety systems, first aid response teams and security procedures.
- Ensure all site safety procedures, audits and compliance activities are maintained and updated.
- Facilities & Infrastructure Management
- Oversee facilities management including buildings, utilities, site infrastructure and maintenance activities.
- Ensure all equipment, plant and site infrastructure are maintained in safe and operational condition.
- Manage contractors and service providers supporting site maintenance, facilities and utilities.
- Support planning and execution of site improvements, repairs and capital projects.
- Operational Support & Site Services
- Ensure effective management of site services including maintenance, security, waste management and site cleanliness.
- Oversee building access, security procedures and site emergency response protocols.
- Ensure operational readiness of the production environment and respond to operational incidents as required.
- Financial & Resource Management
- Support management of site operational budgets including maintenance, facilities and site services.
- Monitor operational expenditures and identify opportunities for efficiency and cost improvement.
- Contribute to planning of capital investments and site infrastructure improvements.
- Leadership & Team Management
- Provide leadership and oversight to site operational support teams including facilities, safety and site services.
- Support recruitment, development and performance management of site support personnel.
- Promote a collaborative, safe and high-performing working environment aligned with Revvity's values.
- Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve operational processes, site infrastructure and systems.
- Support Lean and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, safety and operational performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence across the site.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Business or related discipline (within the Diagnostics / Life Sciences industry).
- Several years of experience in manufacturing, operations or site management within a regulated environment.
- Experience supporting manufacturing operations including facilities, safety, compliance and site infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of operational processes, safety systems and site compliance requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in regulated manufacturing environments (e.g. ISO, GMP or similar).
- Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems such as SAP.
- Experience managing site services, facilities or operational support functions.
- Demonstrated ability to lead operational teams and drive continuous improvement.
