Procurement Coordinator
Location: Bedford
Salary: GBP40,000 – GBP50,000 per year
Hours: Monday – Friday, 9am – 5.30pm.
Job type: Full-time, permanent
Bridge Recruitment is helping one of our established clients recruit for an experienced Procurement Coordinator to join their ever-expanding team. The main purpose is being responsible for all purchasing and supplier matters, the customers experience and bottom-line performance.
Responsibilities of the Procurement Coordinator:
· Overall responsibility for stock records of purchased parts in ERP
· Develop supply chain planning and tools to monitor lead-times capacity short, mid and long term
· Collaborate with Operations Manager to ensure effective daily management of purchased items
· Manage the Sales & Operations purchasing cycle to translate sales objectives into achievable manufacturing plans
· Ensure purchasing requirements are available with capacity time to deliver to the customers promise delivery date
· Min/Max stock levels are set to enable sales lead time expectations to be met
· Providing weekly reports on KPIs to the senior management
· Identifying business risks and opportunities through analysis of information and results
· Prepare, maintain and review purchasing information and ERP accuracy
· Purchase to sale review analysis to ensure stock and costs are aligned
· Supplier quality issues and concerns are managed
· Supplier approval “approved supplier” evaluation carried out
Requirements of the Procurement Coordinator:
· Minimum of 5 years’ experience within a similar position.
· Able to work as part of a team and on your own initiative.
· Great communication and organisational skills.
· Must have a ‘can-do’ attitude.
