AutoCAD and Project Support Engineer Part of the Central Operations Support Team, the role performs as a competent AutoCAD draftsperson assisting the Process Engineer maintain and update all operational site drawings (eg mechanical, electrical engineering line diagrams (ELDs), process and instrumentation drawings (P&IDs), general layout drawings etc) and future revisions, as well as providing drawings of improvement project proposals as directed AutoCAD and Project Support Engineer Requirements: Support the Process Engineer in ensuring all site drawings are accurate and up to date. Provide clear and accurate drawings to support improvement project ideas as directed. Routinely visit Biogen’s operational sites to ensure accurate agreement between drawings and actual site installations. Provide, as requested 3D drawings to supplement standard 2D AutoCAD drawings. Liaise with the Site Managers and teams to ensure a timely and accurate delivery of requirements. Assist the Process Engineer in adherence to the Biogen control of change procedure by providing timely and accurate revisions to site drawings ensuring all modifications are captured. Assist the Process Engineer in the correct document control of all drawings. To ensure care is taken for your own health and safety and that of others, adhere fully and without fail to Safe Systems of Work and actively participating in the development of a positive safety culture Support the Process Engineer and/or the Head of Central Operations, Engineering on site visits in the preparation, installation and commissioning of improvement projects as directed. Having expanded its food waste recycling network through acquisition, it has a combined network of nineteen AD plants located across England, Scotland and Wales that provide cost-effective, low carbon, food and organic waste management solutions. Working with supermarkets, the hospitality industry, food manufacturers and local authorities across the UK, the AD sites recycle over half a million tonnes of food waste each year.
