To provide support to the Compliance Director/Head of Compliance, Environment Manager, Regional Compliance Officers and Site Teams, leading on technical monitoring requirements, emissions testing, gas leak detection and submissions to the regulatory bodies.
Technical Compliance Manager Responsibilities:
- Leading the emissions monitoring and undertaking olfactory emissions testing and gas leak detection sampling, monitoring, reporting and technical support across Biogen’s sites.
- To take the lead in drafting responses and identifying pragmatic and cost‑effective solutions.
- To support the Compliance Team on annual reports and pollution inventory returns for the sites as required by permits, approvals and planning permissions.
- Supporting on technical submissions, e.g., dispersion modelling, for permit variations and renewals to the EA, planning authorities and other relevant bodies as required.
- This role requires regular nationwide travel as the company operates a national network of sites.
