Responsible for the roll-out of the pan-EU SMA Patients Support Program in collaboration with the Strategy Lead of the program and the relevant functions within the affiliates.
- Operational excellence
- Provide input for strategy development and support implementation of strategic initiatives.
- Create and integrate the Global Patient Services guidance within the global activation plan and ensure local activation (ex US).
- Provide affiliates with adequate resources and budget planning guidance for successful (re)launch of patient services TA/disease area.
- Implement and localize the PSP for SMA in Europe, ensuring the launch readiness in the affiliates. Continued monitoring of the PSPs based on the metrics tracking and ensuring continued optimization of the PSP.
- PSP SMA - Needs assessment in the affiliates outside of EU+ (ex-US) for possible expansion of the EU+ Patient Services.
- Assessment of current material in house and roll out of global patient and nurse material.
- Implement the internal communication and branding strategy for Patient Services.
- Collaborate with Customer and Marketing Insights group to provide patient insights to internal and external stakeholders, aiming to change the way we work with this valuable first-hand data.
- All responsibilities are carried out in close alignment with the Patient Services Strategy team to ensure One Biogen approach.
- Global Patient Services Network; Dashboard & Metrics
- Collect all relevant insights to the Patient Services Dashboard in order to provide structured information moving forward and support the decision-making process within Patient Services Operations.
- Create efficient Global Best Practice Sharing platforms, build PSP network structures and drive best-practice exchange between the running PSPs and services for continued evolution and enhancement of Biogen PSP offerings.
- Provide affiliates with the advice and support for implementing the country-tailored Patient Services Strategy.
- Support in Implementing unified metrics across the organization (ex US).
- Track tactical plans against metrics, support local PSP leads in execution and re-train where required.
- People training
- Support in Developing onboarding & ongoing training plan for PSP leads and patient services functions.
- Strengthen operational excellence by involving PSP Leads and PSP Cluster Leads in meaningful best practice sharing, educational activities and working on global projects.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of relevant working experience in Pharma Industry or healthcare.
- Previous experience in product/service launch; communication and branding activities and/or managing PSPs.
- Outstanding analytical and communication skills.
Collaborate with all global and local relevant functions to provide tactical guidance on how to implement Biogen’s Patient Services to meet the needs of patients by creating a Global Patient Services tactical guidance, informed by Patient & HCPs needs along the whole disease journey.
