We are seeking a motivated and commercially driven Pharmaceutical Sales Specialist / Senior Sales Specialist to join our growing Dermatology division in the UK. This is a field-based role covering the north of the UK (starting at Birmingham) offering a high degree of autonomy, where you will take ownership of your territory and contribute directly to the successful positioning of our prescription products. You will work cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, Marketing, and Market Access, acting as a trusted partner to healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities- Develop, build, and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, including dermatologists, GPs with an interest in dermatology, pharmacists, and clinics.
- Effectively present and promote Biofrontera’s dermatology portfolio, clearly communicating clinical benefits and product differentiation.
- Implement and execute regional sales and marketing strategies within your territory.
- Identify and proactively pursue new business opportunities through structured market analysis and targeted outreach.
- Drive territory growth by expanding existing accounts and acquiring new customers.
- Deliver compliant, high-quality product information in line with the company's compliance policies and internal SOPs.
- Organise and participate in congresses, symposia, and educational events.
- Collaborate closely with Medical Affairs to ensure accurate and impactful scientific communication.
- Manage territory planning, reporting, and CRM documentation effectively.
- Provide structured feedback from the field to support continuous improvement of commercial strategies.
- Education: Degree in life sciences, pharmacy, business, or a related field (or equivalent qualification). ABPI qualification (or willingness to obtain).
- Experience: Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector. Experience in dermatology or oncology is advantageous. Demonstrated ability to build customer relationships and deliver commercial results.
- Skills & Competencies: Strong commercial mindset combined with scientific understanding. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust-based relationships with healthcare professionals. Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities effectively. Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven with a strong sense of ownership. Ability to analyse market dynamics and translate insights into actionable sales strategies. Confident and professional presentation skills. Entrepreneurial mindset with a solution-oriented approach. Willingness to travel within the UK when necessary. Full UK driving licence. Fluent English.
