We are looking for a skilled Service Engineer to install, maintain, and troubleshoot package sewage treatment plants (STPs) across the UK. This role requires hands-on expertise in servicing, diagnostics, and repairs, ensuring all work complies with environmental and safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs of package sewage treatment plants (STPs).
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and process-related faults.
- Install and commission new STPs, ensuring compliance with UK discharge standards.
- Conduct water quality tests and adjust system parameters for optimal performance.
- Maintain accurate service reports and documentation.
- Provide technical support and training to clients on STP operations.
- Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations while working on-site.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in wastewater treatment, sewage treatment, or related engineering fields.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of aeration systems, pumps, blowers, and control panels.
- Required Skills: NVQ Level 3 or higher in mechanical, electrical, or environmental engineering (or equivalent). A valid UK driving license (travel to sites required).
- Preferred Skills: CSCS card, Confined Space Training, First Aid.
