Biocomposites is an international medical devices company that engineers, manufactures, and markets world leading products for use in infection management in bone and soft tissue. Based in Keele, UK, it has global operations across Europe, USA, Argentina, Canada, China, and India. Biocomposites is a world leader in the development of innovative calcium compounds and bone cements for surgical use. Its products regenerate bone and target infection risks across a variety of specialties, including musculoskeletal infection, orthopaedics, trauma, spine, foot and ankle, podiatry, and sports injuries. Biocomposites products are now used in over one million procedures per annum and sold in more than 100 countries around the world.

The Marketing Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of events across the EU and UK. This person will assist in managing marketing materials and logistics, working closely with internal teams and external partners, having the opportunity to occasionally represent Biocomposites at industry events. This is a fixed term contract from July 2026 until August 2027.

Location & Working Pattern: Keele office. Standard working hours (e.g. Mon-Fri, 9.00 - 5.00, 35hpw).

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage bulk marketing inventory stock levels, shipments and replenishment.
  • Support ordering print collateral.
  • Support sourcing promotional items.
  • Support the preparation and execution of marquee events, conferences, meetings and webinars.
  • Coordinate and manage tradeshow kit inventory and shipments (must be able to safely lift and transport moderate-weight materials and equipment on a regular basis).
  • Communicate event information with various stakeholders.
  • Ensure quality is maintained for marketing and tradeshow inventory.
  • Assist with the review and negotiation of contracts for restaurants, hotels, venues, conference centers, and various types of suppliers.
  • Assist with content management for Hub, app and website.
  • Support our Multimedia activities, including creating collateral in InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premier Pro and other Adobe Creative Cloud software as required.
  • Assist with other marketing duties as required.

Essential Requirements:

  • Currently studying towards a degree or professional qualification in Marketing or a related discipline.
  • PC literate.
  • Problem solver, organised, communicative.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Knowledge of graphic design and experience using Adobe Creative Cloud (e.g., InDesign, Illustrator, or Photoshop).
  • Experience in marketing operations or event support.
  • Ability to travel domestically.
