Based in Keele, UK, it has global operations across Europe, USA, Argentina, Canada, China, and India. Biocomposites is a world leader in the development of innovative calcium compounds and bone cements for surgical use. Its products regenerate bone and target infection risks across a variety of specialties, including musculoskeletal infection, orthopaedics, trauma, spine, foot and ankle, podiatry, and sports injuries. Biocomposites products are now used in over one million procedures per annum and sold in more than 100 countries around the world.
Reporting to the Regional Leader, you will manage and lead your region to drive adoption, improve patient outcomes and meet sales objectives. Your responsibilities will include:
- Training and supporting existing key sales channels in Indonesia, Brunei and Borneo.
- Identifying and converting new accounts across the specialities whilst supporting existing accounts to achieve regional sales objectives.
- Building early clinical adoption through education and KOL engagement.
- Establishing wound care excellence centres.
- Developing an understanding of the market unique to assigned territory.
- Developing relationships in all areas of the hospital that are key to Biocomposites.
- Becoming a subject matter expert, with an excellent understanding of infection and related issues.
- Identifying strategic accounts and future clinical advocates.
- Working with the marketing and clinical & technical research team to define product positioning and develop marketing materials.
The Person will have:
- A background in orthopaedics, woundcare or medical devices.
- The willingness to take ownership of their region and formulate a clear business plan.
- The ability to influence and persuade key HCPs (surgeons, clinical microbiologists, procurement etc.).
- A naturally inquisitive nature, eagerness to learn, and high self-motivation.
- Comfort presenting to groups of clinicians as well as supporting the use of the product in an operating theatre environment.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and adaptability in dynamic environments.
- A results-driven attitude with a focus on meeting or exceeding goals.
- Strong interpersonal skills, fostering productive relationships with clients and colleagues.
