Are you highly organised, detail-oriented and looking to build a career in logistics? This is an exciting opportunity to join our Cambridge Transport Team, supporting the movement of life science shipments that make a real difference to people's lives. As a Transport Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring our transport operations run smoothly by providing administrative support, maintaining accurate records and delivering excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
Working in a fast-paced environment, you will liaise with drivers, suppliers, customers and colleagues across the business to ensure shipments are delivered safely, efficiently and on time.
Role Responsibilities Overview:- Monitoring transport inboxes and ensuring queries are actioned promptly
- Answering telephone calls and responding to internal and external enquiries
- Confirming completion of collections and deliveries and updating systems accordingly
- Monitoring driver progress and communicating any delays or service issues to operational teams
- Maintaining accurate transport and supplier information within company systems
- Supporting the management and verification of supplier costs and invoices
- Assisting with resolving invoice queries and discrepancies
- Maintaining accurate records, filing and data entry across transport systems
- Building strong working relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Supporting compliance with transport procedures, safety standards and company SOPs
- Competitive salary: £28,000 – £30,000 per annum

- Full-time (40 hours per week), Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 15:30 and 10:00 - 18:30 (rota basis)

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications
