This is a critical role at the heart of our UK transport operation. You’ll be responsible for coordinating time- and temperature-sensitive shipments, ensuring deliveries are made safely, efficiently, and on time. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will balance operational performance, regulatory compliance, and customer expectations—playing a key role in keeping our logistics network running smoothly.
Role Responsibilities Overview:
- Delivering reliable, on-time transport operations through effective route planning and coordination
- Optimising routes and resources to reduce costs while maintaining service quality
- Monitoring live operations and resolving issues quickly to avoid disruption
- Ensuring full compliance with transport regulations and company procedures
- Managing driver schedules and utilisation to maximise productivity and minimise inefficiencies
- Coordinating subcontractors and suppliers to maintain service continuity and control costs
- Investigating service issues and implementing improvements to enhance performance over time
- Maintaining strong communication across teams to ensure visibility and alignment

What You’ll Bring:
- Experience in transport planning, logistics coordination, or similar operational roles
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills with the ability to manage multiple demands
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-moving environment
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capability
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and compliance
- A proactive, customer-focused mindset with a strong sense of ownership
- Knowledge of UK/EU transport regulations (e.g. tachographs, working time rules) is desirable
- Previous experience in life sciences, cold chain, or regulated logistics is helpful
