Do you thrive in fast-paced, operational environments, solving problems in real time, and taking pride in delivering efficient, compliant, and customer-focused outcomes? This is a critical role at the heart of our UK transport operation. You’ll be responsible for coordinating time- and temperature-sensitive shipments, ensuring deliveries are made safely, efficiently, and on time. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will balance operational performance, regulatory compliance, and customer expectations—playing a key role in keeping our logistics network running smoothly.

Role Responsibilities Overview:

  • Delivering reliable, on-time transport operations through effective route planning and coordination
  • Optimising routes and resources to reduce costs while maintaining service quality
  • Monitoring live operations and resolving issues quickly to avoid disruption
  • Ensuring full compliance with transport regulations and company procedures
  • Managing driver schedules and utilisation to maximise productivity and minimise inefficiencies
  • Coordinating subcontractors and suppliers to maintain service continuity and control costs
  • Investigating service issues and implementing improvements to enhance performance over time
  • Maintaining strong communication across teams to ensure visibility and alignment

  • Full-time (40 hours per week), Monday to Friday, shifts between 07:00 - 18:30 and one weekend a month

What You’ll Bring:

  • Experience in transport planning, logistics coordination, or similar operational roles
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills with the ability to manage multiple demands
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-moving environment
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capability
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and compliance
  • A proactive, customer-focused mindset with a strong sense of ownership
  • Knowledge of UK/EU transport regulations (e.g. tachographs, working time rules) is desirable
  • Previous experience in life sciences, cold chain, or regulated logistics is helpful
