Reporting to the Chief Compliance Officer, the Programme Manager will lead and manage strategic programmes and projects across Biocair's transformation portfolio, ensuring delivery of business-critical initiatives on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards. The Programme Manager will drive governance, stakeholder engagement, and benefit realization, supporting Biocair's mission to deliver world-class logistics solutions for life sciences.
Responsibilities will include:
- Programme Planning: Develop integrated programme plans, including timelines, budgets, and implement appropriate reporting mechanisms.
- Delivery Management: Oversee execution of projects within the programme, ensuring adherence to scope, time, and cost constraints. Risk escalate as necessary.
- Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular updates to the ELT, CCO and SMT.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Identify key stakeholders and build strong relationships to ensure delivery.
- Financial Management: Manage programme budgets, provide accurate forecasts, and ensure value for money in procurement and any third-party engagements.
In addition, you will demonstrate these key competencies:
- Formal qualification in Programme/Project Management (e.g., Agile, PRINCE2, or PMI).
- Proven track record in managing complex, multi-stream programmes in a global environment.
- Strong understanding of programme/project management methodologies (Agile/Waterfall).
- Financial acumen and experience managing budgets.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, changing environment, delivering quickly and in full.
- Familiarity with global operations and cross-cultural stakeholder engagement.
- Knowledge of Change Management principles and practices.
- Understanding of regulatory compliance in life sciences logistics and exposure to procurement and vendor management is highly desirable.

This is a full time role, offered as a 12 month Fixed Term Contract. 40 hours per week Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:30 with 60% of your working week being spent based out of our Cambridge office in Sawston (CB22 3EG).
