The role of the Warehouse Coordinator is to assist the Warehouse Manager in the running of Biocair\’s Cambridge storage and warehouse facilities.
The Warehouse Coordinator will represent the company in a manner that enhances our image, reputation, and efficiency through high levels of customer care.
Responsibilities will include:
- Pack customer samples following Biocair’s procedures and observing all relevant regulations, providing feedback to the company from customers.
- Monitor and actively manage stock levels at Biocair Cambridge to ensure supply assurance for all packaging systems and equipment required for Biocair’s packaging services. Ensure replenishment orders are placed in line with supplier lead times to maintain minimal stock levels.
- Process orders and dispatches in a cost-effective and timely manner to meet customer requirements.
- Maintain all reusable packaging systems, including receipt scanning, inspection, cleaning, and conditioning. Capture and escalate non-conformities or deviations to the Station Manager.
- Provide a safe and clean working environment, adhering to Biocair Health & Safety procedures at all times, ensuring understanding and practice by all warehouse personnel.
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor the receipt and storage of all packaging in designated areas.

Key competencies:
- Experience working within Transport and/or Warehouse environments.
- Collaborative approach, working across functions and cultures.
- Proven ability to work well under time pressure.
- MS Office skills (Excel, Word).
- Full Clean UK Driving Licence.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a passion for customer service excellence.

This is a full-time role, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with shifts between 07:00 and 18:30. It is based entirely on-site at our Sawston Warehouse.
This role is UK-based; the right to live and work in the UK must be established during recruitment. We are not currently a Home Office visa sponsorship license holder.
