As the Global Accounts Receivable Manager you will be responsible for leading and developing a growing accounts receivable team globally, currently with annual collections of >£100m. You will be responsible for implementing and monitoring robust processes, controls and facilitating change and continuous improvements to support our strategic growth initiatives across all regions.
Responsibilities will include:
- Manage the global AR team, supporting the US and EMEA/I regions.
- The main function will be to ensure the efficient billing, cash collection and timely payment of invoices, playing a key role in managing working capital requirements and ensuring the business has sufficient cash balances to meet obligations as they fall due.
- Standardising processes and practices globally and establish working relationships with key functions to drive increased cash collection.
- Maintain and monitor KPIs to ensure cash collection targets created and subsequently met.
- Comply with customer billing requirements and look to operate standardised processes in the financial system, managing the interactions with the operational systems and pricing and costing teams as required.
- Assist the management and review of efficient financial processes in the order to cash cycle, interacting and as key financial contact for commercial, operational and procurement teams.
- Effectively manage financial risks – credit, foreign exchange and master data and be a key contact for audits as they arise.
- Lead the global AR team ensuring that team members are motivated, trained and create the environment for the individuals and team to develop and enable the skills to partner effectively with the broader Biocair business.
In addition, you will demonstrate these key competencies:
- ICM or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in a senior AR leadership role with international scope.
- Demonstrable experience in accounts receivable.
- Knowledge of trading, duty and tax requirements and compliance.
- Modern credit control collection techniques and credit risk assessment.
- Experience of using Sage X3 or similar system is desirable.

Please note this is a full time role, 40 hours per week working 08.30 - 17.30 Monday to Friday and offered as hybrid working 60% of the week from our Cambridge office.
