Are you ready to kickstart your career in sales with a role that offers real progression, international exposure, and the chance to make an impact in a growing green-tech industry? At Triogen (part of the BIO-UV Group), we’ve been market leaders in water treatment for over 35 years. Our UV and ozone disinfection technologies help keep pools, leisure centres, and critical water facilities safe — all while supporting a cleaner, greener world. Due to exceptional demand and company growth, we’re looking for a Junior Sales Manager to join our friendly Glasgow-based team and grow with us.

What you’ll be doing:

  • This is first and foremost a sales role — but with the freedom to find your own way of working and seek out success.
  • Lead generation and qualification of new opportunities.
  • Relationship building with clients — you must be confident and personable on the phone. (However, this is not a cold-calling role.)
  • Market mapping to identify and target growth areas.
  • Technical learning to understand and present our UV and ozone solutions and assist clients in decision making while also selling our services in Aftermarket and commissioning.
  • Site and client visits across the UK, Ireland, and Scandinavia.
  • Supporting pricing discussions, negotiations, and account management.
  • Reporting to management to track progress and pipeline activity.

Career progression:

  • Months 0–6: Learn the business, products, and market while supporting senior sales managers.
  • Months 6–12: Take ownership of lead generation, early-stage project development, and client support.
  • 12+ months: Transition to running your own sales desk — managing the full cycle from lead to close and account management.
  • Ongoing: Continued involvement in supporting the wider team to ensure shared success.

What you’ll get:

  • Competitive salary (£27,500-£30,000 DOE) + uncapped monthly commission (realistic OTE £35–40k+ Year 1).
  • First 3 months commission guaranteed (to be paid upon successful completion of probation).
  • 10% pension contribution (well above market average).
  • Company car/Car allowance (rare for a junior role).
  • Annual performance bonus linked to company growth.
  • Full training and mentorship from experienced sales managers (desk + field).
  • International travel opportunities across Scandinavia and Europe from day one.
  • Early exposure to high-level clients (councils, leisure operators, engineering firms).
  • A supportive, friendly team with the backing of a global group.
  • Potential for flexible working once established.
  • A culture where success is recognised and rewarded — great performance is noticed and celebrated.

What we’re looking for:

  • A clean UK driving licence.
  • Experience within a sales environment - ideally technical sales but not essential as full product training is given.
  • Personable, driven, and passionate about building a career in sales.
  • Strong communicator with the confidence to build client relationships.
  • Competent in MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.), ideally with CRM experience.
  • Willingness to travel across the UK, Ireland, and Scandinavia.
  • Presentation skills and the ability to engage clients face-to-face.

Nice to have:

  • French or Scandinavian language skills.
  • Background in pools, leisure, or councils.
  • Knowledge of UV/ozone technology.

This isn’t just another sales job. It’s the chance to build a specialist career in a high-demand, green-tech industry, with structured training, international opportunities, and the freedom to carve out your own path.
