We are looking for a Site Operator to join our team at the Bio Dynamic anaerobic digestion facility, helping process organic waste and produce renewable energy.
This is a hands-on role involving plant operation, waste processing, and equipment operation within a busy industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Accepting, inspecting and processing waste deliveries
- Operating mobile plant (telehandler / fork lift truck)
- Assisting with daily plant operations and monitoring
- Supporting planned maintenance and basic repairs
- Maintaining high standards of health, safety and housekeeping
- Helping maximise biogas production and plant performance
Requirements
- Experience operating telehandlers and fork lift trucks
- Strong health & safety awareness
- Ability to work as part of a team
Experience in anaerobic digestion, biogas, wastewater or waste processing would be advantageous but is not essential.
Shift Pattern
- Friday 05.30 until 15.30
- Saturday 05.30 until 15.30
- Sunday 12.30 until 22.30
- Monday 12.30 until 22.30
Various elements as follows
- £1,500 uplift for working a Saturday shift
- £1,500 uplift for working a Sunday shift
- £1,050 uplift to be achieved on signing off 7 competencies at £150 each (expected to be within first three months)
- £1,350 uplift to be achieved on passing probationary period at six months
