Bio Capital is seeking an experienced and proactive SHEQ Manager to lead and maintain our Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality management systems across Granville Ecopark (a Bio Capital Anaerobic Digestion facility) and remote power generation sites. This is an exciting opportunity to shape a positive safety culture and drive continuous improvement within a business that values compliance, sustainability, and operational excellence. The role is based at Granville Ecopark, Dungannon, with occasional travel to other Bio Capital sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership: liaise with external auditors to retain and extend certifications.
- Risk: support internal auditor training.
- Regulatory Liaison: Build strong relationships with regulatory bodies (HSENI, NIEA), manage environmental permits, and respond to compliance queries.
- Continuous Improvement: Analyse SHEQ performance trends, report findings, and lead improvement projects across Bio Capital sites.
Requirements:
- NEBOSH National General Certificate (Diploma preferred).
- Auditing qualification or 3+ years auditing experience (ISO standards).
- Strong knowledge of H membership of IOSH/IEMA or similar.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
