At Binq we're hiring a Marketing and Analytics Engineer to sit at the intersection of data engineering, analytics and marketing. You'll turn events flowing through our internal data platform into insight, experiments and campaigns that land — and you'll own the work end-to-end. This is a hybrid role by design: you'll design the events, build the reports, run the campaigns, and use GenAI tooling to move faster than a traditional analyst or engineer could alone.

Skills and Experience

  • Hands‑on with Databricks or a comparable cloud lakehouse / warehouse.
  • Solid grasp of event‑driven systems — schema design, event contracts, and the trade‑offs of designing events for analytics and activation.
  • Experience running marketing campaigns end‑to‑end on platforms like SendGrid, Iterable, Braze or HubSpot.
  • Working knowledge of Mixpanel or equivalent product analytics tools.
  • Comfortable building reports and dashboards.
  • Fluency and curiosity with GenAI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) — a core skill, not a nice‑to‑have.
  • Python and financial services experience are each a plus.
  • Strong communicator across technical and non‑technical audiences; ships independently in a fast‑moving environment.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the CEO, Product, Marketing and Commercial to translate business questions into data and marketing solutions.
  • Design the events that power Binq's analytics and marketing — schemas, contracts and validation rules in our internal platform, Inscalar.
  • Run Binq's marketing campaigns end‑to‑end — audience, orchestration, measurement and iteration — through Inscalar into our delivery platforms.
  • Build reporting and analyses in Databricks and Mixpanel to explain how the business is performing and why.
  • Use GenAI tooling (including Claude and Databricks Genie) to accelerate analysis, code and campaign iteration.
  • Uphold data quality and event schema integrity across everything you touch.

Benefits

  • Offices in Manchester, London, and Cyprus if you prefer hybrid working.
  • 25 days holiday (plus your birthday off), and all local public holidays.
  • Employee Assistance Programme and eye care support.
  • Regular team socials and occasional retreats.
  • Volunteering days for community impact.
  • Flexible benefits through Perkbox or health cash plan.
