Binnies is recruiting experienced EIA professionals to support work primarily in Wales, the Midlands, and North West. Projects include the water sector (flood, coast, reservoirs, nature‑based solutions, water utilities) as well as ports, transport and renewable power. The scale ranges from nationally significant infrastructure to local river restoration, with opportunity to work across the country. The role can be full‑time, hybrid in Chester, Swansea or Birmingham offices, or remote. It is primarily technical, with opportunities for team line management and mentoring.
About the Role
- Co‑ordinating all stages of Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), including SEA and related assessments and consents (WFD, HRA, planning).
- Serving as checker, reviewer and/or approver of environmental deliverables, driving technical quality.
- Providing line management and mentoring of the Environmental Team.
- Liaising with clients and stakeholders.
- Supporting tenders.
- Supporting recruitment.
