We are recruiting Project Managers to join our Major Projects team within the Water Services division, supporting a growing and diverse portfolio of work across the UK water sector. The role offers flexible working arrangements with opportunities for home working, office-based working, or a hybrid mix depending on project requirements.

The Role:
As a Project Manager, you will be accountable for the planning, delivery, and successful execution of projects to defined scope, budget, and programme—ensuring client requirements are met and exceeded. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to deliver high-quality outcomes while driving efficiency, innovation, and value.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, execute, monitor, and control projects across scope, programme, cost, quality, risk, procurement, and stakeholders
- Manage contracts under a range of frameworks and standalone agreements
- Understand client performance requirements and develop strategies to deliver value
- Identify, assess, and manage technical and commercial risks
- Prepare and review proposals and cost estimates for new and extended work
- Implement effective resource strategies across multiple projects and programmes
- Ensure compliance with quality management systems and drive continuous improvement
- Coach and mentor colleagues, supporting performance, development, and learning
- Build strong relationships through clear, effective communication with clients and stakeholders
Desirable Attributes:
- Proven experience in Project Management within engineering or professional services consultancy
- Professional qualification in Project Management and/or an engineering discipline
- Strong leadership capability with experience managing multidisciplinary teams
- Commercial awareness of consultancy delivery and tendering models
- Proficiency with programme management tools (e.g. Microsoft Project)
- Proactive, solution-focused mindset
- Confident client-facing skills with strong relationship management
- Experience in the water sector or a closely related, transferable industry
