Shape the delivery of a £20m+ annual portfolio
Binnies UK is looking for an experienced and commercially astute delivery leader to join the bWGM Joint Venture as a Senior Project Manager, leading the successful delivery of a significant portfolio of water and wastewater projects for United Utilities.
The Role
Reporting to the Framework Manager, you will provide operational leadership across a portfolio of design and build projects with an annual turnover of approximately £20m, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on programme and within budget.
- Lead and develop Project Managers and multidisciplinary delivery teams
- Provide operational leadership across a major design and build project portfolio
- Drive project performance, resource planning and workforce capability
- Act as a senior client contact and escalation point
- Support commercial performance, framework growth and business planning
- Champion innovation, sustainability and best practice
Location & Travel
Based predominantly from United Utilities' Preston Hub, you'll work closely with both the bWGM Joint Venture leadership team and client stakeholders. The role combines office, site and hybrid working, with regular visits to projects across the framework region.
About You
- Significant experience delivering major infrastructure, construction or design and build projects
- Strong leadership and people management capability
- Experience managing complex project portfolios
- Excellent stakeholder and client relationship skills
- Relevant degree qualification
- Chartered status and project management qualifications desirable
