About the Role
Binnies, an RSK Group company, is seeking Mechanical Engineering Placement Students to join our Delivery team. You will support the planning, design, and delivery of a wide range of mechanical and infrastructure projects across the UK, gaining hands-on experience in mechanical systems, project coordination, and technical delivery. This is a hands-on placement where you will be treated as a valued member of the Delivery team. You’ll receive structured training, mentoring, and ongoing support to develop your technical and professional skills while completing your degree. For high-performing placement students, there is strong potential to progress into a graduate role within the Delivery team upon successful completion of the placement and degree. The role is primarily office-based, with opportunities for site visits, client meetings, and occasional travel across the UK.

Essential Requirements
You must be able to demonstrate:
- Current study towards a degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Strong interest in mechanical systems, project delivery, and engineering solutions
- Good numerical ability and confidence using spreadsheets
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing
- A proactive, self-motivated approach and ability to work well in a team
- Interest in sustainable and resilient mechanical infrastructure
