Binnies, an RSK Group company, is recruiting a Graduate Project Manager to join their Southern Water Services team based in Redhill, London and Bradford on Avon. Our team provides clients in the UK water sector with professional services, typically ranging from feasibility studies and outline design to design for construction and site supervision. We support our client's projects which typically involve upgrades or new build works to their assets such as pipe networks, reservoirs, water treatment works and sewerage treatment works.
Responsibilities
- Assist and support the Project Manager on multi-disciplinary projects.
- Plan, execute, monitor and control projects in terms of scope, time, cost, quality, resource, communications, risk, procurement and stakeholder management.
- Contract management, predominantly under the NEC suite of contracts.
- Deliver projects to the As-Sold financial metrics or better.
- Manage the overall coordination of the project team.
- Balance the needs of multiple projects.
- Organise professional client meetings, taking and distributing minutes and following up on actions.
- Liaise with internal and external clients to develop relationships across the business.
- Create and review proposals and costings for new projects.
- Assess the technical and commercial risk of projects during the sales process.
