We’re looking for a Graduate Civil Engineer to join our team and play a key role in delivering innovative and sustainable clean water and wastewater infrastructure projects across the East of England. Working as part of the @one Alliance , you’ll have the opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers and multidisciplinary teams, developing your technical knowledge and gaining valuable experience across projects from feasibility and optioneering through to detailed design and construction . What will you be doing? As a Graduate Civil Engineer, you’ll support the development and delivery of civil engineering designs, while learning from experienced colleagues and contributing to projects that make a real difference to communities and the environment. Supporting the development and coordination of civil engineering designs and multidisciplinary teams. Assisting with the delivery of clean water and wastewater infrastructure projects. Applying engineering principles, British Standards and Eurocodes to the design of civil engineering and reinforced concrete structures. Supporting the design of pipelines, including pressure and gravity systems, open channels and closed conduits. Producing technical sketches and contributing to design development and modelling. Supporting projects from feasibility and optioneering through to detailed design and construction. Using CAD and relevant engineering software to support design and modelling activities. Assisting with design risk assessments and ensuring appropriate risk management is considered throughout the design process. Supporting the preparation of Pre-Construction Information and Health plan and manage watersheds; harness the energy embedded in the treatment and movement of water and enhance sustainability.
